• pulling weeds in the garden,
• making things out of re-purposed wood

Although I became an author at the age of six with my debut poem, “My Little Sister Vicki Is Very, Very Tricky,” Polarity in Motion is my first published novel.

As an educator, the true value in my stories comes from my  students. I  entered my career to educate others but  find most often that kids are my teachers.  The heartbeat of my fiction pulses from the courage and resiliency of my students.
